Erica Nagel

Erica Nagel

“Amber is an extremely multi-talented person. She radiates luminous stage presence, a keen intellect, a grounded physical presence, and a collaborative spirit. She has deep wells of compassion, and the impact of the artistic work she is creating to the community around her is always at the forefront of her mind. I believe Amber truly represents the next generation of theatre artists: Artists who’s talents and interests cannot be contained within one label or discipline; Artists whose work is deeply rooted in a sense of place; Artists who see community-based models and methods as essential to the artistic process. And Amber has big plans. She hopes to return to her home community in Nevada to look deep into her family history to create art that explores and celebrates the lineage of her home state.”- Erica Nagel: Director of Education and Engagement at McCarter Theatre Center of Princeton, NJ.

Erica mentored Amber in cultivating community partnership, devising theatre with youth, literary management, dramaturgy, and managing the tasks of a producing artist at Premiere Stages of Union, NJ. Erica continues to be a mentor, colleague, and friend.
